TERMS & CONDITIONS

Inducement
By using this site you are expressly stating that you have in no way been induced to purchase life insurance because of the charitable giving of Synthesis Life Insurance, Inc (SLI). You understand that by using SLI as your life insurance broker you are not receiving anything of value beyond what is promised to you in the contract between you and the carrier you purchase your policy from. You understand that if charitable donation is your primary motivation to work with SLI that a direct contribution to the charity of your choice would be a better alternative than purchasing life insurance to make a charitable donation as you as you will not receive any tax benefit for purchasing a policy through SLI. By using this site you recognize that while you appreciate the charitable inclination of SLI you have made the decision to purchase life insurance apart from said charitable inclination.
Legal Information Regarding Our Charitable Giving
The guaranteed commitment of SLI is that we will make a charitable contribution to a 501(c)-3 organization with revenue generated by agent (“street”) commissions and received from the life insurance carrier and which are generated by the purchase of insurance through SLI. This contribution of agent commissions will, at a minimum, be the maximum deductible amount allowed by the IRS for S-Corporations. SLI will strive to give in excess of this stated minimum. SLI will make these contributions at a minimum on an annual basis, with many gifts being allocated throughout the year. The contributions will be made to the charities listed on the “Giving” page of the SLI website, with a goal of distributing gifts evenly among the charities listed. SLI reserves the right to change the charities to which it gives at any time, and the charities will always be listed on the “Giving” page. By using this site, you understand that SLI is a for-profit entity which gives to charitable non-profit entities. Further, you understand that giving will be made to religiously-affiliated organizations, specifically Christian.
We should explain here in the spirit of complete transparency that we made the decision to file as an S-Corporation rather than a C-Corporation simply because filing this way allows the corporation to give more revenue away on a tax-deductible basis than does filing as a C-Corporation – and we are able to commit ourselves to a higher standard of giving publicly than if we filed as a C-Corporation. If you would like more information about this decision, please contact us. The financials of SLI will be reviewed annually by an independent CPA firm as stated on the website. Copies of a summary of this review will be readily available to anyone who asks.

Policy Restrictions, Limitations and Terms
The products referenced on this Site have restrictions, limitations, and terms regarding coverage. For complete details concerning coverage, please be sure to read the policy thoroughly. As a general rule, the term insurance offered through this site is a contract in which the insurance carrier agrees to pay a death benefit to an insured’s beneficiaries so long as the owner pays the agreed upon premiums to the carrier. The contract will specify the face amount of coverage, the premium due, and the number of years the premium is to be locked in for. The contract of life insurance is not through SLI. SLI is the broker of insurance and its sole function is to bring a buyer of life insurance together with a carrier of insurance.
